Isaac's early platform emulated school administrative routines, but to target larger chains, we needed to provide more than just operational tools. The main challenge was to deliver value specifically to school managers by making the platform their go-to for financial and strategic data.

Isaac, a startup that provides financial predictability for schools, initially focused on covering the entire financial operation of schools, handling tasks like contract creation, enrollment generation, and renegotiations.
With that success established, the challenge shifted toward expanding Isaac's value proposition to attract large school networks.

how
I conducted workshops with CSMs and in-depth user interviews with school managers from large school networks to understand their needs and pain points. My research revealed that they sought an all-in-one platform to analyze financial data, predict trends, and make strategic decisions.
Financial forecasting, visualized reporting, and the ability to manage data at scale were critical needs. Additionally, managers wanted these insights in a format that was easily shareable with their teams and boards. I've got this through:

Building on the insights I had gathered, I set out to craft a compelling data narrative for the financial reports. My focus was on designing information flows that aligned seamlessly with the key responsibilities and challenges of school managers, ensuring the reports provided actionable insights tailored to their unique needs.
